You can register for our Heart Risk Profile (available to men and women) which is a series of free screenings that measure your blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and blood sugar (fasting is recommended for more accurate results).  Registration is required for the screenings, call 1-866-705-3244 or register online.  The results will provide you with important information that you can then discuss with your doctor to determine your individual risk factors for heart disease. Our team of nurses will review your screening results to determine if you meet the required criteria for this additional screening.  There will be exhibits from the Heart Institute, physicians, local agencies, various health services and community businesses.  You'll see demonstrations of fun exercise options.  Mini-seminars will be offered throughout the day, led by Heart Institute specialists.  We will have a heart healthy cooking demonstration and taste testing at 11am.  The entire event is free.Blood pressure checks are available to participants who do not have an appointment for the heart risk profile.  These are available on a walk-in basis from 9am to 12pm.
