Visitors are encouraged to visit during the hospital visitation hours of 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. Visits should be brief, quiet and pleasant in order not to tire the patient. Please do not visit if you are feeling ill or if you have signs of an infection or respiratory illness. All visitors are asked to wash their hands before and after entering a patient's room. For patients who do not wish to have visitors or whose clinical condition does not permit visitors, we will place a No Visitor sign on the door.

Visiting in the Intensive Care Units is restricted to family (as designated by the patient). Visitors in all other units are guests of the patient or family. Because there may be additional restrictions, visitors should check in at the information desk or use the call system located next to the double doors at the entrance of the patient care areas before entering the unit.

Visiting Hours
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Quiet Time is observed from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. To promote the best healing environment, we ask visitors to allow the patient to rest during this time.

Too many visitors at one time can make patient care difficult and may overtire patients. The preferred number of visitors is two at a time. Adults who bring children are responsible for supervising them at all times.

Visitors may park in the lot across from the main hospital and the Heart Institute. There is a small fee for parking.  Handicapped parking can be found in every visitor's lot. If all the handicapped parking spaces are full, please ask a parking lot attendant for assistance.

Cell phones should not be used in patient care rooms but pose no safety threat if used in hallways or waiting rooms.
